The client
Mae’s Sweets with Soul is a Charleston-area bakery and dessert company. It makes homemade Southern sweets, custom cakes and baked goods, and shows up at pop-ups, events and special orders.
What wasn’t working
Mae’s had a website, but it worked mostly as an information page. Custom-order inquiries were pushed outside the main customer experience.
There was no connected system to capture an inquiry, organize the customer, track the order and follow up the same way every time. Too much depended on handling it by hand.
What we built
- A website with an order inquiry form
- A CRM that receives every inquiry
- An order pipeline that tracks each request from first contact forward
- An automatic confirmation to the customer
- Internal notifications so the team knows when an order comes in
What they can do now
- Capture the details of each custom order in one form
- Track every inquiry from first contact forward in an order pipeline
- Confirm each submission with the customer automatically
- Get notified the moment a new order inquiry arrives
- Manage website leads from one system instead of by hand
We publish results like traffic, leads or revenue only when we can show where the numbers came from. This page describes what was built and what it does.
